Bar Harbor Savings and Loan, a community bank with headquarters in beautiful Bar Harbor, Maine is searching for an individual to be the Bank’s Accounting Associate. Joining the Bank’s team of highly dedicated and motivated professionals, the Accounting Associate is responsible for the daily operations of the Bank with regards to the performance of accounting, bookkeeping and reporting functions. The Accounting Associate monitors the cash flow of the Bank and makes appropriate recommendations and assists with the maintenance of computer systems and operations.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of QuickBooks Accounting Software; is a disciplined professional with excellent accounting and planning skills; is organized and proficient at multi-tasking; and has the ability to interpret banking regulations.

Prior experience working for a financial institution required. Bachelor's Degree in a business discipline such as accounting, finance, or business management preferred.
