Running and walking for rides

Last weekend runners, walkers, their dogs, and many volunteers gathered together for the second annual Mary Parker Memorial 5K, or “Running for Rides.” First place went to Jacob Benson, and a good time was had by all.
BHSL sponsored the event to benefit Island Connections. The funds raised will help Island Connections continue its mission to provide transportation services for those in need on Mount Desert Island and the surrounding islands.
