Celebrating Earth Day with Friends of Acadia
May 22, 2017
Bar Harbor Savings and Loan employees pitched in again for this year’s Roadside Cleanup, sponsored by Friends of Acadia. Along with friends, family, and neighbors, they waded through wet ditches and along the soggy sides of Eagle Lake Road from Norway Drive to the high school. By the end of the day, volunteers had cleared hundreds of bags of trash left over from the past winter throughout MDI and Trenton.
The Roadside Cleanup, now in its eighteenth year, is held annually in celebration of Earth Day.
