Now Hiring Bank Manager

Bar Harbor Savings and Loan, a community bank with headquarters in beautiful Bar Harbor, Maine is searching for an individual to join the Bank’s team of highly dedicated and motivated professionals, the Bank Manager’s responsibilities include BSA Program Administrator, Customer Service Operations, Core Processor (COCC) Oversight and Loan Processing. The Bank Manager shall also serve as an Officer of the Bank.

The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of banking and reporting requirements will possesses the ability to manage priorities and pay attention to details using analysis and critical thinking. The ability to problem solve, identify and escalate issues when needed, and demonstrate creativity/flexibility in addressing problems is essential.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Two to four years of related experience in business, financial services industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong negotiation, conflict, motivational, and management skills
  • Self-motivated with a demonstrated aptitude in operations
  • Comfortable with technology – including computers, smartphones, online banking

Education

  • Bachelor Degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration or the equivalent of years of experience the financial industry
