Bar Harbor Savings and Loan is seeking a talented and competent visionary financial services professional to help grow and expand the Bank. Joining the Bank’s team of highly dedicated and motivated professionals, our new Vice President & Treasurer will be responsible for the Bank’s accounting and financial operations. The successful candidate will be a key member of our senior management team and will work closely with the Board of Directors as well as state and federal regulators.
The ideal candidate will have proven analytical and communication skills and leadership experience in management, financial accounting (GAAP), asset-liability management, project administration, funds and database management, long-term financial planning, and direct expertise in banking regulations and compliance. A 4-year degree in Accounting/Finance is required. This is a unique opportunity to establish a long-standing professional career with a small community bank located in beautiful Bar Harbor, Maine.
Compensation for this year-round position is commensurate with experience and includes health insurance, a 401k Plan, paid educational opportunities, and a friendly, challenging work environment.
