Bar Harbor Savings and Loan Participates in MDI Rotary Adventure Golf Challenge

Eleven staff and family members from Bar Harbor Savings and Loan participated in the 18th Annual MDI Rotary Adventure Golf Challenge on Saturday May 20th. The event took place at Pirate’s Cove Golf Course on Route 3 in Bar Harbor. Although the weather was brisk and overcast, Bank employees took time out of their busy Saturday to come and support MDI Rotary’s event, raising funds for Mount Desert Island Hospital’s Oncology Unit. The friendly competition brought excitement and laughs for all to share. David Cohen, Senior Vice President and Treasurer commented, “Thanks to our staff and families for supporting the Rotary Club and giving back to the community. We may not be the best golfers, but we always step up to help out our community.”
