Bar Harbor Savings and Loan Announces New Position

Bar Harbor Savings and Loan Association has announced the hiring of Ray Chalifour of Mount Desert, Maine as the staff member responsible for Human Resources and Marketing.
Chalifour brings to the position over thirty years of management and consulting experience in Operations and Human Resources.
He received a Bachelor Degree from St. Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire, and a Master of Business Administration Degree from the Whittemore School of Business and Economics (Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics) at the University of New Hampshire.
Prior to joining Bar Harbor Savings and Loan Association, he spent six years as Vice President of Physician Practices and Ancillary Services at Mount Desert Island Hospital.
Over the course of his career, Chalifour has held many volunteer positions. Among them are the Board of Directors, United Way of Greater Manchester - Vice Chair, Agency Relations/Allocations Committee; Past Member of the Board of Directors – President, New Horizons of New Hampshire; Distinguished President of the Manchester Kiwanis Club; Leadership Greater Manchester; Business & Industry Association of New Hampshire - H. R. Committee; member of the Manchester, NH School District School to Career Program; member of the Board of Directors, Triangle Credit Union.
